Each year the Tacoma Garden Club selects community organizations to receive small grants. Following is information for applicants.

Mission:
• To stimulate a love of gardening
• To protect the quality of the environment
• To encourage civic beautification
• To support charitable, scientific, and educational activities in each of above categories

Criteria:
• Grant requests should relate to the mission
• Grant requests need to be for a very specific project (see left recipients' list)
• Monies requested should be used in the spring or summer following their receipt

Schedule:

July 1-Nov.15	Applications accepted
Nov.15-Dec.31	On-site visits to applicants by committee members
January	Committee reviews all applications and awards grants
February 20	Notification letters and checks sent to grantees
